Rupinder Batth, after building a successful career spanning 30 years in Canada’s Real Estate, Horse Breeding, and Consulting sector, has returned to his roots in Punjab with a bold vision: to revolutionize the state’s agro exports while giving back to the community that shaped him.
A Global Legacy, A Homecoming Mission
Born and raised in Chandigarh, Rupinder Batth moved to Canada in 1994, where he excelled in Real Estate Development by building luxury houses and townhomes. He worked in Human Resource consulting, pursued horse breeding as a hobby — but his heart always remained tied to Punjab.

“While I’ve had the privilege of living abroad, my heart has always remained deeply connected to Punjab. The opportunity to give back to the community and contribute to its progress has always been a personal goal. I felt that my experience and skills would be most valuable here, where I can contribute to the growth of agri-food processing sector and generate employment for rural youths.
By leaving Canadian citizenship, I have made a conscious decision to dedicate myself fully to this mission. Choosing Commitment Over Comfort: Giving up citizenship of a developed country like Canada wasn’t easy. However, the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to my home state and improve the food processing and agri business outweighed personal comfort.
